For now, my new name is Nancy Drew, okay maybe just today. Our family loves to use our local library, and as such there is a constant ebb and flow of books, movies, cds, etc... at our house. I received a notice saying that one of the books we checked out about a month and a half ago was never turned in. For anyone who knows me well, you can guess that I searched the house up down, over and under, and all about (I am slightly OC about lost items, must find! must find!). That book was not here. I knew I had to go to the library. After using my vast skills in research and sleuthing, I discovered that our library only had 2 copies of this book, and low and behold, 2 copies were on the shelf. Ah ha! I straightened it all out with the fantastic librarians, and now I feel like I am free again. No library debts hanging over me!!!

As compared to me, I not only have a 1.20 fine but I had to pay $2 for a new card today, do you want to come to my house and search for my library card?
You are so funny! Glad you found the book, even though you had to go through so much to get to that point.
Way to even go to the library! One day my kids will experience that adventure (we actually used to go a lot before Brock came along. Now that he's here it seems difficult...I don't know, maybe it's because we're supposed to be quiet in the library?) You have inspired me and I have decided that will be our next FHE outing! Way to find the book! I hope you're feeling better; I missed ya at the EQ ice cream get-together. Your mint and pumpkin ice creams were fantabulous!
Awww - I miss you Sarah! Congrats on the super sleuthing! Hope you are all doing well . . . we are.
Hey Bisel's!
Okay so I read this story and must say I totally understand we are at the library every week and sometimes more...I really don't know why I ever paid for books and movies when they are free there...anyhow I can relate...we are currently on the hunt for one of Tailia's books...I keep renewing it...hopefully we find it soon. haha. :)
That has happened to me before. I had to be Nancy Drew and search the shelves too!!
Senta
Wow, only 10 cents! Our fine would have been higher but then again our local library is like our second home and family to us so I usually have to fight the librarians to pay a fine (they usually want to just delete it and I feel guilty when we really did earn the fine). Anywho, good job on the sleuthing!
