I just thought I should post some pics of the beautiful kids on Christmas morning. We had a fabulous time opening presents together. They loved all the gifts they received, and they loved opening presents. We were very blessed this year, we had so many Wii games to play, that we have been playing the Wii all week.
Madeline had a wonderful "Holiday" concert at school. She really enjoyed getting in all her best clothes to perform all the songs she has been working on. The kids were fantastic and they did a beautiful job. Elizabeth really enjoyed the performance too. She danced along with all the songs, and made all the people around us laugh.
This Halloween was super fun. The kids had a blast trick or treating. Madeline wore high heels and ran the whole time from house to house without complaining. They had so much fun getting candy, and we had so much fun saving their candy for Christmas. ooops, did I say that outloud. Liz came home after 1.5 hours of trick or treating, and spent the next 1/2 hour eating candy. Mitchell had planned on being a vampire, but after he realized he had to wear church clothes and face paint, he changed his mind so he could be "redneck."
Our little Elizabeth loves to be her own person. In the middle of the night, our little one snuck out of bed, found scissors, snuck back in, and cut herself a lovely mullet. Oh, the joys! There was a huge hunk of hair on her floor, and we were appalled at all she can do in the night. She was very upset when she learned she had to get her hair cut, she was even more upset when Bj told her he should just shave her hair off like Mitchell's. But, after going to the hairstylist (who made approximately 3 cuts) and getting a sucker, she is sold on haircuts and wants one every day. Which is a good thing, because we had to cut her hair again the next day, because those 3 cuts just didn't do it....we had to chop the whole thing off to make it "not" a mullet. Go Elizabeth.
