I am slightly sad to inform you that I have become an expert on seam ripping today. Don't know what I am talking about, go here to see a seam ripping tutorial.

What a fun book. Searching through this book was such a pleasure. I loved
looking at all the different quilt patterns, and seeing not just one
example...

Well! Is this an actual picture of your seam ripper? If so, you can be grateful that you have a lovely seam ripper to work with. If not, and yours is a plain, ugly, plastic one like mine, then I'm truly sorry!
You coming up to cache valley to see your brother while you are in utah? Email me and let me know....

Hah! Finally I was an expert at something in the sewing department LONG before you were! Of course, anything I ever make is like stuff I would have learned in Home Economics from junior high. But still, that was when I became an expert. I remember I was making a pair of shorts...yah, I know shorts are SUPPOSED to be symmetrical, well, let's just say I was going for a new style! (Sorry that you and your seam ripper had to become acquaintances though).
